Chris is a registered Kinesiologist and a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). He is passionate about helping others, improving quality of life and staying in motion!

In 2019 Chris graduated from the University of Ottawa from the Human Kinetics Program. While at UOttawa. Chris volunteered as an exercise therapist for the MS Society and became practiced in working with neurological disorders and rehabilitation programming. Since graduating, he has been working with a wide variety of clients such as those with musculoskeletal injuries, car accidents (including ICBC), and chronic pain.

Outside of work Chris loves playing all kinds of sports, cycling and enjoying the outdoors. In 2023, Sarah relocated to Vancouver from Cape Town, South Africa, a decision that had been in the works for 13 years and was finally realized. Having obtained her BSc in physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town in 1998, Sarah dedicated herself to various settings within the field, including rural public hospitals, private hospitals, and eventually establishing her own private clinic. By 2011, she sensed the need to invigorate her professional journey, leading her to pursue a Masters in manipulative therapy, which she successfully completed in 2013. This advanced degree reignited her fervor for physiotherapy, offering a comprehensive exploration into joint mechanics, pain science, clinical reasoning, and effective communication.

Throughout her career, Sarah has not only maintained her private practice but also ventured into academia, educating both undergraduate and postgraduate students across a spectrum of physiotherapy subjects, ranging from cervical spine issues to interpersonal communication skills. Amy was born and raised in the Okanagan, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics and Psychology from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. During her time at UBCO, she completed a Personal Training Certification with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. After graduation, she moved to Vancouver and graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from UBC in 2020.

Amy has several years of acute care experience in various areas including orthopedics, surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and neurological rehabilitation. She currently treats a wide range of chronic pain conditions working within the Complex Pain Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital. Having experience working with many diverse populations, Amy always strives to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment to support clients in their unique healing journeys. Jennifer Chew is a Registered Physiotherapist graduated from UBC with a Masters of Physical Therapy. Along with her physiotherapy degree, Jennifer also has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from McGill as well as a Masters of Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the California University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to her clinical experience as a physiotherapist, Jennifer has more than a decades-worth of personal training experience and it was personal training that initially got her started into developing a passion for pursuing further education in rehabilitation.

As an athlete from an early age, Jennifer has experience in many sports including figure skating to dance to bodybuilding to cross-country and marathon running, she believes in the body’s resiliency in adaptation and recovery, hence the importance of rehabilitation instead of merely focused on rehabilitation.

Jennifer uses evidence-based practice and uses her expertise in exercise, strength and conditioning in combination with manual therapy and other treatment modalities to empower her clients to return to their healthy and injury-free life.

During Jennifer’s free time, she enjoys going to the gym and is now learning how to ride a motorcycle!

Ranko Vukovic is a registered Physiotherapist (RPT) licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He graduated from UBC in 2015 with a Masters of Physical Therapy.

Prior to his Physiotherapy degree, Ranko studied Kinesiology and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UBC. After graduating, Ranko was a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK), a member of BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer. He also holds a certificate in Functional Movement Systems and uses these skills to provide movement screens for clients. 

During his time as a Kinesiologist, Ranko also worked as a research assistant at the Terry Fox Labs in the BC Cancer Research Centre as well as at the Centre for Hip Health & Musculoskeletal Research at Vancouver General Hospital. As a Personal Trainer and Kinesiologist, Ranko worked with a diverse group of clients providing them with customized training programs and motivating them to achieve their personal health and fitness goals. 

As a Physio, Ranko’s enjoys working with a variety of people of all ages and abilities. He has a strong personal interest in the sporting population and is particularly interested in working with athletic and sports injuries. His in depth study of human movement through both Kinesiology and Physiotherapy led him to a greater understanding of how the human body works. Within the rehabilitation field Ranko brings his background of dynamic strength into his physiotherapy rehabilitation process.

Previously, Ranko volunteered with the Serbian Olympic committee as an NOC assistant during the 2010 Olympics here in Vancouver.

Ranko has post-graduate training in treating jaw pain, otherwise known as Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) and Orofacial Pain. He is also training in a variety of treatment approaches including Functional Dry Needling, Shockwave Therapy, Mobilizations with Movement and Kinetic Link Training as a strengthening protocol.

Originally from the UK, Ella recently moved to Vancouver after falling in love with Canada when completing a ski instructor’s course on the east coast in 2008.

Ella has an interim license as a physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, due to be fully licensed by 2022. In addition she is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in the United Kingdom.

Ella has been practicing physiotherapy for over 10 years in the United Kingdom in various hospitals around London after graduating from University of Brighton in 2011. With the most recent 6 years at the Whittington Hospital London as a senior physiotherapist, part of this role included clinical education for student physiotherapists.

Ella has clinical experience with clients of all ages, in intensive care rehabilitation, oncology, acute stroke and spinal cord injury rehabilitation and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. Previously having the opportunity to complete the Bobath Technique for neurological disturbances and work with physiotherapists in the leading spinal cord injury rehab centre in London. Much of Ella’s experience however, lies in orthopaedic rehabilitation, including post trauma rehab, hip and knee replacement, shoulder surgery and ACL rehabilitation. Recently she has taken a special interest in pelvic health and clinical Pilates with educational opportunities due to take place in Vancouver.

Inspired by his experiences recovering from a running injury in high school, Tim completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Physiotherapy Degree from the University of Sydney. Tim has extensive experience working with a wide range of individuals including youth, working professionals, recreational/semi-professional athletes and weekend warriors. He has previously worked with SFU Varsity Men’s Soccer, where he attended to acute injuries and played a crucial role in the rehabilitation process.

Tim has been personally mentored by some of the leading physiotherapists’ in musculoskeletal, sport, orthopedic and occupation physiotherapy. Having attended multiple world conferences in Physiotherapy, he has met and discussed with world leaders in the field.

Tim has additional training and specialization in the following skills: sports injury management, running injuries/running and treadmill assessments, office/workplace injury management, repetitive overuse injuries, injury prevention technique, functional reconditioning, and personalized, tailored exercise prescription.

Locally raised in Vancouver, Tim grew up active with track and field and swimming from a young age. His highlights are completing the Vancouver Triathlon and most recently the Great Trek Half Marathon. Paige’s own experience healing from sport related injuries is what drew her towards a career in Physiotherapy. Paige completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. In her spare time, she coached baseball and Special Olympic athletes. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the Physical Activity and Diabetes Laboratory studying the effects of exercise during pregnancy.

After graduating with distinction, Paige took her studies internationally and completed her Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland, Australia. There she studied under industry leading practitioners in musculoskeletal health.

In her clinical practice, Paige takes a patient-centered approach to care, tailoring her treatment plans to meet the needs and goals of each individual.
